Kenmore Hosts Its Second Annual Oktoberfest!
Join us in September for an epic celebration in the heart of Kenmore with an unforgettable mix of Bavarian tradition and Pacific Northwest charm!
The festivities kick off on Saturday, September 13, with the Oktoberfest Fly Away 10K run and 5K run/walk, setting the stage for a weeklong celebration featuring ceremonial firkin tapping, Bavarian singalongs, and multiple performances by the Bavarian Beer Garden Band.
This spectacular celebration is brought to life through a dynamic collaboration between local businesses, non-profits, restaurants, and breweries, the Bothell Kenmore Chamber, and the City of Kenmore.
Highlights of Kenmore’s Oktoberfest include:
- The incredible Bavarian Beer Garden Band, delivering high-energy, toe-tapping traditional tunes to keep the party going.
- Lively beer gardens featuring local and German brews.
- Rowdy singalongs, stein-holding competitions and hammerschlagen.
- Family-friendly fun with games, a POP Shops market, and wiener dog races.
- Tickets required to attend beer garden festivities – purchase online in advance or at beer garden entry.

Fly Away – Run/walk Event
In addition to the 5K run/walk, we added a 10K run! Whether you’re a family looking for a fun time together, or a serious runner looking for more, join us on September 13 for this annual tradition in Kenmore. Sign up early to ensure you receive a cool new surprise, a runner’s medal and more…
The event launches on the Burke-Gilman Trail in Kenmore with a marked course heading east towards Bothell and back.
Wiener Dog Race
Get ready for a tail-wagging good time at the Second Annual Kenmore Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Races.! Join us on Saturday September 20th to watch as spirited dachshunds dash down a perfectly sized course, each vying for the coveted title of First Place Winner!
Whether you believe your wiener dog has what it takes to be a champion, or you simply want to enjoy the adorable sight of dozens of pups racing to glory, this is an event you won’t want to miss. Expect excitement, laughter, and perhaps a few detours as some dogs take a moment to socialize with fans and onlookers. Let the races begin!
